The March EthnoBorrel will be hosted by the Social and Cultural Anthropology department of Vrije University in Amsterdam.

It’s been a year since our last EthnoBorrel at VU, and the PEOPLE project has come a long way! There is much to discuss and lessons to be learned about cross-sector collaborations in ethnography.

The theme for March will be Applying ethnography in industry: Perspectives from business & the academy, with a schedule that will include:

  • Update on the PEOPLE project by Marrije Prins
  • Two presentations on applied ethnography: Erin Taylor (Canela) on commercial-side dealing with industry / Maud van Merrienboer (VU) on academia-side dealing with industry
  • Discussions

Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, De Boelelaan 1105, 1081 HV Amsterdam
